Project Details
The project connects the Vallèsbranch with Barcelona Port and Can Tunis through new platforms, tracks, and structures at Castell-Bisbal Junction. Works include a 10.875 m-wide, 6.5 m-high underpass and 2 viaducts, each 166.73 m long, with 6 spans of 21.4–31.4 m, a 12.2 m-wide deck, deep foundations, and 495 m and 235 m walls. Tracks comprise UIC 60 rails with HM fixation, PR-01 and AM-00 sleepers, a 1,668 mm gauge, and 30 cm ballast.
